Band History

SD was formed as The Wannabes back in about October of 2000. Our first lineup consisted of me Craig on drums, Jesse on guitar/vocals, Binky the madass insane black-arabian dog(from now on referred to as Chris) on second guitar and Steve on Bass. We kicked Chris out after the first practice and then had to change our name because The Wannabes was taken by a 70's funk band. We decided to change our name to 10XWorse just to make fun of ourselves cause we were bad. Really bad. Our combined experience was less than 6 months. But we practiced lots and got a gig at a school dance playing for a bunch of teenyboppers. It was cool at the time but looking back it was really lame. We also recruited a singer, Matt, who also plays guitar.

Things continued this way for the rest of the school year we played two school dances and one gig during school in the band room which was cool because we got to skip some classes and tons of kids took it as an excuse to skip class. Over the summer we played 2 parties one was at the house of the Beast. That was really fun because there are no rules at her house so we had a great time. Over the summer though Jesse was starting to act like a dick. All he ever did was solo and we just couldn't seem to write a good punk song. So as tensions mounted a week into the school year Jesse quit. I was pissed off at the time but looking back it was a good thing cause Matt and Steve wrote some cool stuff with out Jesse soloing in the background. We also changed our name to SYMMES after a sign that we stole from the school. Then Steve unexpectedly said that he had been talking to Jesse and he was getting better. So we let back in the band which I thought was a good thing. But we kept the name SYMMES because we though it was cooler.

Unfortunately Matt simply could not get along with Jesse and after a 3 month reunion SYMMES decided to kick out Jesse again and we recruited Binky to play guitar with us.  At a little bit after that we spontaneously decided to change our name to Suburban Disaster for no particular reason.   We've spent the rest of this year playing shows and pushing our new demo CD We Don't Like You Either plus writing allot of music and generally getting allot better.  Sadly enough that's all the history we have right now.
